 Whether you are an elementary school teacher, 4-H leader, or high school agriculture instructor, the California Poultry Federation is a great resource for you to find information on the diverse and dynamic poultry industry.
The CPF sponsors Ag in the Class poultry curriculum for grades 4-6. Without leaving the classroom, students can have a complete virtual experience of turkey and chicken production through our interactive educational CDs. CPF has also launched a career outreach program geared at raising interest among high school agriculture students in the poultry industry. Cody Penfold, our Outreach and Education Director, has begun visiting agriculture students throughout the state, discussing the opportunities in the poultry industry. Emphasis is given to the variety of careers offered in the industry and the overwhelming benefits of getting involved with poultry.
